Leacock is a defensive player and has cost the Rams £375,000 on a three year contract.

Leacock is a very promising 22 year old 6 feet 2 inch defender from Fulham, able to play in central defence or at right back.
Dean has come through the ranks at the Fulham Academy and gained rave reviews in his 8 Premiership starts, gaining England U20 caps and being compared to Rio Ferdinand by his former Academy Director Steve Kean. Kean said that Leacock had the potential to play at the highest level. Hopefully he will realise that potential whilst with the Rams.
