England U16 lose to Spain
Disappointment for two young Rams players last night in the U16 International match against Spains U16’s.

Nathan Doyle was Captain of the side as they took on a very good Spanish side at Darlington last night. The English Lions only lost by one goal to nil and had several goal attempts themselves. One of the attempts was by Rams striker Lee Holmes but despite their efforts it was the Spanish who took the points in this triangular tournament.

Coach John McDermott must now pick up the spirits of the young Lions before the next game. The young England team will now travel to Gateshead for Fridays match against the Dutch (kick-off 8-00pm)
