Who should play Sunday?

Steve Howard
Steve Howard, should he be risked?
The Rams play their final game of the regular season on Sunday and speculation on who will play has started on the Derby County Mad message board.

Will Billy Davies take this last chance to find his ideal team for the play-off's, or will he aire on the side of caution and bring in fringe players to cover vital areas?

Would you like to see Steve Howard rested? His temperament is hardly suited to a red hot meeting with a Leeds side who need a miracle and a hat full of goals to stay in the Championship. Traditionally games between Derby and Leeds are bruising encounters.

Stephen Bywater
Stephen Bywater, another key position, will Davies risk him?
Peschisolido must be nearing the end of his career at Derby and in our opinion should be given the chance to say good-bye with a place in the side, or at the very least a place on the subs bench.

One vital area for the Derby County manager to consider is the goalkeeper. Stephen Bywater is available for this final game of the season but should he risk another incident like the one that saw him sent-off, re-instated and then banned and fined £2,000? We think not, Lee Grant did little wrong when asked to play for the Rams earlier in the season and protection of your number one keeper has to be a priority, doesn't it?

Darren Moore
Darren Moore still banned for the Leeds United Game
With Darren Moore completing his four match ban with the Leeds game, should Billy rest his partner at the heart of the Rams defence, Dean Leacock? The pairing have been at the centre of Derby's defensive success's this season.

Giles Barnes is a major loss but hopefully Stephen Pearson will be fit enough to play against Leeds, come through it and be ready for the play-offs.

Arturo Lupoli is lightweight but as he will be off to Italy soon maybe he and

Arturo Lupoli
Arturo Lupoli, has seen little action and will be on his way to Italy soon
Peschiosolido should be paired as small nippy pair of strikers.

To be honest who would want Billy Davies' job , the pressure is enormous and expectation has risen steadily from the start of the season. What ever happens he has done a superb job for Derby County Football Club Hopefully he will hopefully pick a team to give Leeds a game but ultimately save his best for the play-offs and complete the job he has started.
