C:WindowsTempphp742C.tmpIt's been a while but Derby County are finally getting the respect their football deserves and there can be no greater compliment than for Harry Redknapp to say that Derby County are "genuine contenders for promotion".

Redknapp and his QPR team are now in the second automatic promotion place in the Championship but trail Leicester city by ten points, which could be thirteen by the time Derby and QPR take to the field on Monday evening. The Rams sit in fourth place in the table and just four points behind QPR, but having played a game more.

It would go a long way to automatic promotion if the Rams could beat QPR on Monday, and may be a turning point in what is turning out to be an exciting and close Championship season. Defeat may condem the Rams to the lottery of the Play-off's

Harry Redknapp is expecting and in all reality must recieve a "tough match" on Monday, the Rams need to find their winning streak again, as we head toward the meaty end of the Championship season.
