With the Rams mindful of last seasons slump after injury to striker Chris Martin, they are rumoured to be close to signing Guinea International Abdoul Camara.
Camara is a winger but can also play as a striker and is currently playing in the French Ligue 1, and has played 37 times, scoring 8 goals. He has plenty of lower age group International experience for France, playing at all levels from U17 up to U21. His senior International appearances however have all come for Guinea.
Having gained natralised French status, after living there for five years, he now plays for Angers.
When asked about Camara, all Paul Clement would say was, "they were aware of him", which presumabley means they will not say any more until he is a Rams player. A fee of £1.25m has been mentioned.
Camara still has 18 months on his present contract with Angers, after signing a three year deal in July 2014.
