Shirt Shortage for start of the season

Joma Faults may mean a shirt shortage
Derby County have revealed that there has been some production faults with the 2006 -07 season replica shirt.

The club has not been specific about the problem but a club spokesman has said “they are monitoring every sale”.

The club shop has had to sort through every single shirt to find the defective ones and ensure they are not sold to Rams fans.

This has an obvious knock on effect and many fans will now not be able to purchase their shirt before Sunday's league kick-off against Southampton.

Shirt manufacturers Joma have been co-operative in producing more perfect examples of the 2006-07 shirt but this will take time and demand will now almost certainly outstrip supply.
