Will Ravanelli show loyalty to Derby County or his he in it just for the money?
Ravanelli sticks his five penneth worth in as players start to feel the pinch.

Fabrizio Ravanelli has said that he will have words with his fellow players sometime this week. This follows the clubs actions in offering redundancies and asking for wage deferrals earlier this week to staff at Pride Park.

Fabrizio who has not played for the Rams since the game away to Grimsby on the 17th August is likely to be asked to renegotiate his rumoured £40,000 per week, tax free wages.

The Italian striker was less than happy with the way the news of the pay talks were given to the press before players had been informed. This does not bode well for talks that are set to take place in the near future. Three top wage earners are thought to have been especially targeted. Ravanelli, Bjorn Otto Bragstad and Horacio Carbonari being the clubs highest earners.

Ravanelli has also revealed that the financial strain around the club is transferring itself to the dressing room. Moral is at an all-time low and there is a lot of worry among the players.

The coming days should let us see if all the rhetoric spoken by Rams players concerning loyalty is true. Who is a true Ram and who is just in it for the money?
