Derby County will be without the services of midfielder Jeff Hendrick for tonights Capital One Cup second round tie at Pride Park against Brentford.
Hendrick, part of the Rams young developing midfield suffered a heavy challenge on Saturday at Yeovil. The injury is not thought to be serious, just a case of a sore shin and ankle but Rams manager, Nigel Clough will rest Hendrick as they continue to assess the injury. It is thought Hendrick miss timed a tackle and kicked his opponent but ended up coming off the worst in the challenge.
Despite the loss of Hendrick the Rams look forward to continuing where they left off at the weekend following their 3-0 win away at Yeovil...
