Malcolm Webster has moved from Ipswich Town to join old boss George Burley as the senior squad’s new goalkeeping coach. Eric McManus returns to his normal role at the Rams Academy after a brief spell in the coaching position vacated by Tony Godden.
Gary Twigg and Lewis Hunt have been released from their contracts at the club to pursue careers elsewhere. Both had been on loan at lower division outfits during the last campaign. Twigg was at Bristol Rovers and Hunt at Southend.
Club captain Ian Taylor has signed a one-year extension to his contract.
And last, but by no means least club secretary Keith Pearson took his leave of office after nine years of sterling work at Pride Park.
