Rams to play benefit game on Tuesday

Spencer Prior was one of the key players when the Rams finished 8th in the Premiership during the 1998-99 season. A benefit game will be played in his honour and to raise money for his favoured charity, Little Havens Hospice will take place on Tuesday 5th May k-o 7.45pm at Rootshall, home of Southend United FC.

Spencer now lives in Sydney Australia but will be flying back for the match and is looking forward to seeing old friends and is delighted that the game includes his old club Derby County. He added that he "remembers his spell at Derby very fondly. He played 63 times for Derby County, 54 of those at the top level in the Premiership. Spensers other clubs include Norwich, Leicester, Man City and Cardiff.
