Rams sent warning shot from in-form Reading

Hatrick hero Jamie Curton, a man the Rams must watch carefully this weekend

The Rams must be wary of over confidence as they start their first Division campaign on Saturday. West Ham United where beaten 5-4 by Reading and there was a hatrick for Jamie Curton in the process.

Reading also showed plenty of character as they where 2-0 down at one stage of the match to their Premiership vistors.

Hammers boss Glenn Roeder was less than happy with his defenders after they conceded four goals in a little under 20 minutes, saying "it was sloppy defending". He likened the defensive display to that of several similar displays in the Premiership last season.

So Derby have had their warning, lets see if that is taken-on-board and an embarrasing home defeat can be avoided this coming Saturday.
