Rams pull out of USA trip

Derby County have announced that the tour of the USA will now not go ahead in the summer. It was hoped to play at least one game in Detroit but the trip has now been axed with logistical reasons being blamed for the re-think.
Manager Paul Jewell has said that he wants time to prepare for the coming season and the time and planning taken for this game in America would be better spent in preparation of the squad.
The Rams now plan to have a tour of Holland, which it is hoped will give plenty of time to watch and blend the Championship side...
