Rams keeper again chosen by England

Rams young goalkeeper Lee Grant has again been chosen to represent England in the UEFA European Under 19 Championships to take place in Norway on the 21^st July.

Grant is in the England squad that competes in group B of the Championship. The group also includes Republic of Ireland, Germany and Belgium.

The group A section has hosts Norway playing against Slovakia, Czech Republic and Spain.

The respective winners of each of the two groups go forward to contest the final, whilst the runners-up will play for third and fourth place.

A further incentive to do well in the competition is qualification for the FIFA U19 World Championship. Teams who finish in the top three places in their group will qualify for the trip to the Championships to be held in March 2003 in the United Arab Emirates.
