Rams International duo in losing England U21 side

Riggott played full 90 minutes

Rams Duo Malcolm Christie and Chris Riggott where in action last night (Wed16th April) for England U21 side. The friendly international was played at Stokes Britannia Stadium.

Chris Riggott played a full 90 minutes in the centre of England's defence but Malcolm Christie was substituted after 46 minutes, Crouch taking over from the Rams striker.

The friendly match was eventually won by a Tonel strike for Portugal after 39 minutes. Although not a disaster the match was used as a build up for England's bid for glory in the UEFA European U21 Championships to be held in Switzerland in a months time.
