Derby County have their second representative in the 2008 Olympic games. Benny Feilhaber has been called up to the USA squad after his recovery from knee surgery after the ibjury was picked up in an American U23 game against Turkey in may.

The 22 year old will meet up with his fellow Americans prior to the games starting on 8th August. The games will start just prior to the official opening on the 6th August and if Benny and the USA are lucky enough to get through to the final it will be played on Saturday 23rd August.

The same applies to Ruban Zadkovich, who will represent Australia in the Olympic competition, so it may be a long time before either player sees his Derby County Team mates. Both are potentially going to miss the Rams first three league games of the 2008-09 season.
