With the league season less than a week away now, Derby County are anticipating a bumper crowd to start the season. With the "Kids for a quid" offer again in place Officials at the club are hoping that a near capacity crowd will cheer the two teams at 3-00pm on August 10th.

Reading fans where a little disappointed with the small allocation of tickets given to them, only 3,146 where sent to the Royals. If our sister site www.reading-mad.co.uk is right, the Reading fans are very keen to visit Pride Park and are looking forward to pitting their skills against the like of Fabrizio Ravanelli and world Cup player Branko Strupar.

As long as the weather stays fine and the loss of a few bus services to the ground are not a problem it should be "all systems go" at Pride Park next Saturday.
