Rams draw Huddersfield in Carling Cup

HUDDESFIELD TOWN V DERBY COUNTY

The Rams were featured in the opening draw of the newly named Carling Cup. Derby's number came out of the draw second confirming that they will have to travel to the McAlpine Stadium sometime during the week starting on 11th August.

The new competition sponsers "Carling" take over from Worthington. The cup has suffered in recent seasons and it has to be seen if the new sponsors can breath any life back into the competition once know as the League Cup. Derby County have never won this Cup in it's 42 year history.
