Porter, who celebrates his 26th Birthday on Thursday, has only managed three starts for the Rams since his £400,000 move to Derby from Motherwell. During those three games however he scored on three occasions and it was a major blow to Nigel Clough's plans when he sustained the hip injury which has kept him out of the Rams side since March.
An operation on the hip in the summer was successful and Porter will commence running and get back to full fitness and his expected to return to the squad during December...
