Rams close to a sell out for opening clash of the season

Rams fans do it again, even after dropping a division they still look like selling out for the opening day match against Doncaster Rovers, who have also sold all their allocation of tickets.
Tom Glick the Rams CEO and President thinks that Saturday's game against Doncaster Rover may be a sell-out. At the time of writing there have been 28,000 tickets sold for the opening day clash, with newly promoted Doncaster selling out of their 3,074 allocation.

The scene is now set for a great opening day in the Rams Championship season and expectation is high around the City and County for the Rams to do well. The pressure is on for Rams manager Paul Jewell and a competent and winning start against Doncaster, Bristol City and Southampton is essential for the Rams boss, who has yet to win a league game whilst in charge of the Rams and a 28 match run without a win.

Hopefully Saturday will be a release of tension from Manager, team and supporters alike, as Derby County are just six weeks away from the anniversary of their last league win. The 1-0 victory coming on Monday 19th September 2007 against Newcastle United...
