Derby County have confirmed reports from today’s papers linking the club with a move for Spanish midfielder Inigo Idiakez.
The 28-year-old Spanish midfielder was a target for Hearts last season
before moving to Rayo Vallecano.
The club quote Rams director of football Murdo Mackay as saying: "Idiakez is certainly a player
we would be interested in as he is of the standard and quality we require.
We have been monitoring his progress but to say we are in talks with him -
as has been reported in the press - is premature.
