Rams NOT for sale
The Rams are not for sale says financial director
Officials at Pride Park are saying Derby County is not up for sale. Financial director Andrew Mackenzie has rubbished the report in yesterdays Sunday Times saying “that as far as he knew Derby County would not be sold this week.

The Sunday Times is saying the club will be going into administration soon with debts of over £27million. The Rams however say that accounting firm KPMG are at Pride Park to get interest going in potential investors in the club and not to start winding the club up or to sell the whole club.

The Sunday newspaper also states what every Rams fan has know for a while now, that certain players that are surplus to requirements have been told to look for a new club. This does not necessarily mean that the club is likely to fold. The players have been advised to seek employment elsewhere purely to cut wage bills, which are currently taking over 70% of the clubs income.
