The 22 year-old saw the Rams held to a draw on Saturday against QPR and is a large boost to Nigel Clough's thread bare strike force. Bueno, who is just 22 years of age has played at ever level of International for Spain from the Under 17 side to the Under 21 squad.
The signing looks to be a major coupe for Clough as Bueno only completed a transfer to Valladolid last season at a cost of £3m. His deal with the Spanish club lasts another five years, so it looks unlikely that the Rams will get the chance to sign Alberto on a permanent basis.
Valladolid were relegated from the Spanish La Lega last season and it is thought this may be one of the reasons he is to be loaned to Derby. Bueno has made 20 appearances for Valladolid, scoring just a single goal.
