After a shaky pre-season which involved two losses to lower league clubs, the Rams finally came good at Pride Park this evening with a 2-0 win over Aston Villa.
Goals in the second half came by way of a penalty converted by Steve Davies and an unstoppable drive from Ben Davies sealed a very good win and overall performance from th Rams.
Nigel Clough will now be looking to take this win over one second City side into Saturday's opening Championship game against Birmingham City...
