RECLAIM THE RAMS CAMPAIGN

Derby County fans are encouraged to join in a protest against the Board of the football club at this Sunday’s match away at Crewe, which is live on Sky Sports. The Independent Supporters’ Trust, RamsTrust, has organised for 2,000 placards to be distributed to fans travelling to the game and are encouraging fans to show their “Board Out!” message as the players go into their huddle before the game, and again after the final whistle.

We feel the current Board have clearly demonstrated that they do not have the ability to turn around the financial position of the club and provide a stable foundation to build on last season’s success on the playing field, and would like one of the consortia of local businessmen who are lifelong fans to takeover the club. This protest is the first leg of a campaign aimed to encourage all Derby County fans to express their feelings, and help bring about positive change for the good of the club

The issue has been brought to a head following the sale of Grzegorz Rasiak behind the manager, Phil Brown’s back and the failure to bolster the squad for the next 4 months. It is RamsTrust’s belief that Derby County Football Club is now being run solely in the interests of moneylenders rather than supporters.
