Pride Park heated exchanges heard

Pride Park was a very happy place to be last night if you happened to be a Rams fan but both Barnsley fans and players alike were in a sombre mood.

Reports in the Yorkshire Post, are of heated dressing room exchanges. Everything looked to be going well for the Yorkshire lads and they went in a goal to the good at the interval. Derby County had shown little to worry Barnsley but a four minute show by Giles Barnes turned the game on its head.

Giles scored for the third time in four days, his brace last night were again pure quality strikes, much the same as his leveller against league leaders Cardiff on Saturday.

Barnsley are now in relegation trouble following their loss to the Rams and they play county rivals and fellow strugglers Leeds United this coming Saturday, a must win match for both sides.
