Pooooooom arrives at Pride Park Stadium
Is Mart Poom ready to desert a sinking ship or is his heart and services going to stay with a club he professes to love.

In an interview today Poom admits he would consider moving to another Premiership club should Derby County nosedive into division one. He said, “It is impossible to say at the moment. I have a contract with Derby County for two more years and I will not go to the coaches door and demand a transfer, but if the chance arises to play in the Premier League and Derby agree to let me go I wouldn't be against it. I have proved to everyone that I can play at this level”.

Mart goes on to say how he has had to watch with sadness as the club heads toward relegation. In closing Mart said, “I love Derby, I love my club”.

Should Mart Poom decider or be offered an escape from lower league football I don't think any of the Rams fans would begrudge him a move to another Premiership team. I may be wrong, but I would say Poooooooooom has given outstanding service to Derby County and at 30 years of age deserves to continue playing in the top flight.
