Letter to Rams players

today announced that it is asking its players to take a pay cut to help the financial crisis that is rapidly overtaking many league clubs.

Now we hear that Coventry City have also decided to ask their players to help out with a wage cut.

DC-Mad can’t help thinking that it is about time that many of the high wage earners at Pride Park were asked the same question. With players taking home up to £40,000 per week we feel it would show their commitment to Derby County Football Club if they were to volunteer to a small pay cut?

Derby County are still facing a potentially crippling wage bill in the next three weeks. Who will be the first to nail their colours to the mast and prove to the fans that they are DERBY COUNTY through and through and not just going through the motions on the field and laughing all the way to the bank?
