As the new consortia led by Peter Gadsby finally takes over at Pride Park, we bring you the first pictures of the new Chairman and how they have thanked the fans for their support over the last few difficult months.

Revelations concerning the level of debt have been revealed and most people were shocked to hear that the club is now £52 million in debt. That has been halved after each of the Five Consortia members placed £5million worth of their own money into Derby County Football Club.

The club officailly changed hands around 2.00am on Saturday 29th April after
Peter Gadsby returns as Chair of DCFC
the consortia and their lawyers hammered out the final details of the takeover. The consortia considered this takeover to have been a hostile one after Jeremy Keith had publicly sided with the SISU bid, which made negotiations very difficult.

An excellent piece of news is that Pride Park is now out of the control of the mysterious ABC Corporation, which was a major consideration for the consortia and which has proved to be one of the major hold-ups during the take-over negotiations.

Another surprise is the sixth new director. He is well known businessman and Caravan expert Don Amott. Who will join the other
fans who came to congratulate the new Owners
directors after he has resigned as Chairman of Burton Albion.

Tommorrow sees a near full house of over 30,000 people at Pride Park and a party atmoshphere is antisipated now Jeremy Keith and the other former directors of the club have left. We sincerely hope that this will now be one of the best periods in the clubs 122 year history.

All the people connected with Derby County Mad wish Peter Gadsby and associates all the very best of luck in their new venture.
