Rams new keeper Stephen Bywater goes straight into today's game.
Derby County have made a third signing ahead of today's game with Hull City.

Stephen Bywater has joined the Rams on a months loan, initially to get around the 12.00 o'clock deadline , enabling him to play in today's match.

Bywater is a 25 year old goalkeeper who comes from West Ham United. He joined the Hammers in 1998, when only 17 and has managed 60 appearances in the eight years at the Boleyn ground but had little chance to show the talent he has, being kept out of the West Ham line-up by the likes of Shaker Hislop etc.

Stephen will initially be on loan to the Rams with a view to signing him permanently at the end of this month.

The signing may be a controversial one, as many see Lee Camp as Derby's number one keeper, although he does have his critics when it comes to crosses and commanding his area. Camp is an excellent shot stopper and it is hoped the competition for places will see a marked improvement in his play.
