"Our main concern at this stage of the pre-season campaign is fitness and sharpness," he told the club's official website.
"Last season we conceded too many goals, especially away from home, so it's good to keep it tight at the back.
"I'm not too concerned that we haven't scored for a couple of games.
"We had at least two one on ones to settle the game and everything is coming along nicely."
