International striker to sign?

After several days of bluff and smoke screening the Rams have confirmed their interest in signing Poland international striker Grzegoz Rasiak.
The player was spotted at the Moor Farm Training complex by reporters yesterday forcing the club to issue a statement where Director of Football Murdo McKay was quoted as saying:-
“The boy is training with us as we continue to try to establish exactly what his contractual situation is before taking matters any further.”
Rasiak, who played for his country in the recent international against England transferred from his native Poland to Italian club Sienna during the summer but has yet to have the move registered - apparently because of a change to the management staff at the Italian outfit.
As a result the Rams may be able to take advantage and a add a genuine target man to their strike force.
The club also announced yesterday that their appeal to have the sending off of Nathan Doyle rescinded has failed and the player will now be unavailable for 3 senior games - Millwall, Wigan and West Ham.
