John Gregory seeking £2,974,298 for wrongful dismissal
Ex Rams boss John Gregory has fired a broadside at the club in the shape of a £2.1 million writ after his sacking from his position at the club earlier this year. The Writ was filed by Gregory’s solicitors, Freethcartwright, on June 25th.

Mr Gregory is claiming damages for wrongful dismissal of £2,974,294. This figure is said to include deferred salary and money paid into Mr Gregory’s pension scheme.

John Gregory’s contract was from January 2003 and should have run until June 2005.

There has been little reaction from the club after Chairman Lionel Pickering was told of the claim. Mr Pickering said it was news to him but he was quietly confident should the case go to court of a favourable outcome for the club.
