Robbie Mustoe a Ram by Saturday?

Rams manager John Gregory is confident of offering Robbie Mustoe a contract and sign him on a free transfer that will enable him to play in this Saturdays opening match against Reading.

This comes despite the current freeze on funds that the Rams are experiencing.

Gregory is hoping that the Rams bankers will cut him some slack and enable him to bring Mustoe to Pride Park.

More good news for the Rams is the expected return to fitness of central defender Chris Riggott for the opening game. Riggott has had a groin strain that kept him out of last nights showcase friendly with Italian Giants Lazio.
