Luis Menotti quits after Villa is sold to the Rams
Argentina's World Cup manager in 1978, Cesar Luis Menotti (69) has quit as manager of Mexican side UAG Tecos in protest at the selling of Striker Emanuel Villa to Derby County.

Menotti, the chain smoking manager took the Argentinean national side to victory in the 1978 World Cup final against Holland.

He criticised the financial commitment and future success of the Mexican side that he has managed since August of last year. He saw Villa as a pivotal part of the UAG Tacos side and saw no future in stopping at the club who have no ambition...
