Pierre wants to remain as a Rams player after his loan spell expires
Pierre Ducrocq has spoken of his wish to stay at Derby County after his loan spell is completed at the end of the season.

Pierre has been with the Rams since October of last year and has impressed on many occasions during that time. It was a shock to see him not in the squad on Tuesday to play Arsenal, but Pierre responded by putting in a telling performance in the reserve team on Thursday night, as they beat Fulham by two goals to nil, Pierre scoring one of the goals.

Ducrocq has said in a statement to local newspaper The Derby Evening Telegraph, that "English football is very enjoyable and, hopefully, I can help Derby stay in the Premiership". He was also very impressed with the off-field aspects of life in Derbyshire, saying. " I love it in Derby. I have a lovely house here and I really enjoy the way of life".

It now remains to be seen if Pierre can produce the performances that will persuade John Gregory to offer him a permanent deal at Pride Park. The real deciding point must surely be if the Rams can cling on to Premiership football for next season.
