Chris Riggott pulls out of England U21 clash this Wednesday
Injuries to two Derby County players during the defeat by Everton at the weekend, has resulted in them having to withdraw from England U21 duty.

Both Malcolm Christie and Chris Riggott have been withdrawn from Wednesday nights Under 21 International friendly with Italy. Christie has a hamstring problem that saw him substituted at the weekend. Chris Riggott is also forced to withdraw his services after taking a knock on the leg in the same match, although the full extent of the injury is not yet known. Riggott was visibly limping at the end of the game.

The friendly U21 International is now without any competitors from Derby County but is expected to attract a large crowd to The Valley, home of Charlton Athletic on Wednesday 27 March. The game is a vital warm-up for the U21 European Championships held later this
