Poom wanted but by whom?
Derby County’s Chief executive Keith Loring has said this morning that the club has rejected a £2million offer for Goalkeeper Mart Poom.

The offer was said to have come from a Premiership side but Mr Loring refused to say which one. The deal would have not gone through until the transfer window opened again in January 2003.

Mr Loring went on to say that the estimation of Poom's worth does not reflect the value Derby County place on the Estonian International.

With many Premiership and foreign clubs aware of the Rams financial plight they see a chance of cashing in and offering substantially less than the true value of several player on the Rams playing staff.

So who was the Premiership club offering a pittance for POOOOOOOOM?

The wise money is on Manchester United, as they have been quoted before to be looking at Poom and made enquires last summer about the availability of the Derby number one keeper.
