Bjorn Otto Bradgstad’s unsuccessful stay at Pride Park is coming to an end. Bragstad and the club have had negotiations and come to an arrangement about the remaining time he has left on the contract.

The Norwegian defender is due to leave the club officially at the end of the year.

Bragstads unsuccessful career at Pride Park began in July 2000. After an outstanding Euro 2000 for Norway Jim Smith snapped up the then 29 year old Bragstad for £1.5 million. Unfortunately for player and Club the signing never worked out.

The final straw for Bragstad came after the Rams loaned him out to Birmingham City. He was booed off the pitch in his third game and was sent back to Pride Park the next day, just 15 days into the month’s loan.
