will leave Derby County in the early part of January 2003. The deal to release the Argentinean was hammered out between Chief executive of Derby County, Keith Loring and the player himself and his representative.

The deal to release Carbonari from his contract was a major move in the financial restructuring of the club Carbonari had 2.5 years still left on a lucrative contract and it was the biggest in the club.

Horacio is currently sidelined with a thigh strain and will be going back to his native Argentina for treatment and possibly to sort out a new club. He is not thought to be returning to the club for at least a month.

Rams Chief Executive Keith Loring has also spoken about four more players whose contracts are under negotiation. Two of these players are said to have agreed deals in principle but have not put pen to paper as yet.
