Gresley Rovers 3 Derby County 3

Derby sent what appeared to be a reserve side out when taking on Gresley Rovers last night.

The Rams started the game well and were winning by two goals to nil. Both goals coming in a seven minute period just before half time.
Steve Elliott forcing home the Rams first, Gary Twigg adding the second just two minutes before the break.

Gresley fought back well after the break and some poor defending from set plays cost the Rams. The Moatmen scoring from two corner kicks, the first in the 55th minute and then leveling the game with another corner on the hour mark.

The Rams took the lead for the second time in the game with a goal from Fahrudin Kudozovic but alas it was not good enough to take all three points as the Moatmen scored again from a corner to earn their draw.

The Rams must sort out their poor defending from corners in the coming weeks if they hope to mount a challenge for the Reserve league title again.
