Ahmet Suleymanoglu scores again against a Rams team
Derby County reserves
last night crashed to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Wimbledon.

The game was played at Kingstonian’s Kingsmeadow ground, which was very much in need of some attention. The ground is used by Wimbledon for their reserve team games but is also used by AFC Wimbledon, Wimbledon Ladies and of course Kingstonian and was not a surface to aid good football.

Wimbledon won the match by a goal in each half. Just before the break Marvin Kamara scored for the Don’s. Wimbledon’s second came with just ten minutes left of the game and was scored by Ahmet Suleymanoglu. Ahmet scored a hatrick against the Rams in an under 19 game earlier last month.

The Rams gained a consolation goal from Richard Jackson

Richard Jackson's injury time strike was not enough for any points for the Rams reserves
in the final minute of injury time in the second half but it was too little, too late.

The Rams did have chances to have taken some points from this game but a disallowed goal from Lee Morris and a shot that hit the woodwork from the same player were as close as Derby came to rescuing this game.
