Izale Mcleod scores a brace in the fine victory over the Tractor Boys reserves
The Rams reserves took the tractor boys of Ipswich Town to the cleaners last night beating them 3-1.

Two goals by Young Izale McLeod took the visitors to victory. Izales first goal came from the penalty spot. He converted the spot kick after Rams Captain Adam Murray was fouled in the penalty area in the 5th minute.

Fellow striker Marcus Tudgay was the Rams second goal scorer. A well-placed header saw the ball nestle in the corner of James Pullen’s net. The Rams two goals up within the first 25 minutes and looking good. Indeed they could have extended their lead near the half time interval as McLeod rounded the keeper but his pass to Lee Holmes was squandered and the shot went wide of the Ipswich goal.

The second half was just 8 minutes old when McLeod stuck again. The chance was laid on by a superb cross from Lee Holmes.

Ipswich were now dead and buried as far as the game was concerned but to their credit they did pull the deficit back to 3-1 but try as they might the Rams were home and dry and took a well deserved three points back from East Anglia.
