A bumper crowd of 5,365 at Pride Park saw the Rams second string beat Leicester City reserves 2-0.
With the Rams dominating large sections of the game it was no surprise when they took the lead near half time a header by defender Steve Elliott found it's way past the Fox's keeper and into the net.
The result the Rams where looking for never looked in doubt as they continued to run riot in the second half, Giorgi Kinkladze creating numerous chances.

Branko Strupar looked a little rusty with his second comeback game and has to improve if he is to gain a starting place in Saturdays crunch match, again against Leicester. Strupar was eventually taken off and replaced with young striker Marcus Tudgay after 65 minutes.
Tudgay impressed with his 25 minutes and capped a great performance in the 75th minute when he connected with a Lee Morris cross to score the Rams second goal.

Lee Morris again impressed with his direct running at the opposition and must surely figure again in Gregory's plans for the weekend.
