The Rams reserves pulled four points clear of second place Arsenal thanks to a 2-0 win at the Baseball Ground over Fulham reserves.

Pierre Ducrocq
Pierre played well and is looking for a permenant move to the Rams
Frenchman Pierre Ducrocq scored in his first appearance for the reserves. Ducrocq was left out of Tuesday's first team squad that travelled to Highbury and lost 1-0 to Arsenal. Pierre may have had something to prove to manager John Gregory and that he did.

It was in the 56th minute that he received the ball from an unfortunate Fulham defender. His shot from 22yards curved nicely into the corner of the net.

Earlier in the game another player trying to impress John Gregory was Finish International Simo Valakari. He was instrumental in the first goal of the game, playing a sublime through pass to striker Marvin Robinson to score.

The Rams where fielding what looked on paper a very strong side. Other more usual first team names playing last night where, Horacio Carbonari and Brian O'Neil. One of John Gregory's new signings Goalkeeper Foletti was pleased to have kept a clean sheet as he settles into life in Derby.
