A match which Derby County's reserves dominated for the opening 45 minutes slipped from their grips after two goals in seven minutes left the Rams floundering.

Chelsea started their win with a well taken goal from a free kick just outside the Rams penalty area. Scott Cousins being the Chelsea man doing the damage.

Just seven minutes later the Rams had an uphill task as Goma Lambu added a second goal for Chelsea.

Derby thought their luck had changed as Chelsea were reduced to ten men in the 61st minute. Goal scorer Scott Cousins getting his marching orders. The reduction in numbers failed to worry Chelsea as they cruised to a comfortable win as a crowd of 697 looked on.
