Derby County Mad player ratings results v Reading

Last updated : 22 December 2010 By Rams Mad Editor

Derby County Mad asked you to rate the Rams player performances for the home game against Reading last Saturday. Here are the results of your ratings.

There has been a very good turn out of raters for this game and some interesting results. In most of the recent defeats voting for the goalkeeper has been positive but it seems this time Stephen Bywater, recently returned to the team after injury may be blamed for goals conceded. This is reflected in his very low score of 3.51.

Dean Leacock also looks to have had a poor game according to you the Derby County Mad readers. Dean could only manage an average rating of 3.52.

Even supporters favourite and exciting defender John Brayford suffered for the fourth successive loss but a score of 4.42 is a more respectable.

Attack didn't fair very well either this week, with lone striker Luke Moore getting a disappointing 3.97 rating. A blip it may seem as Nigel Clough looks to extend Moore's loan spell in the New Year.

Midfield had a mixed reaction from you raters, with the Rams going 2-0 down to Reading in the first period, it was clear that midfield were not contributing much to the team. This was spotted by you the Derby County Mad readers and this weeks duffer and lowest rated player was Stephen Pearson polling just 3.01 average rating. Paul green fairing slightly better with 3.81. This is in contrast to half time subs, Robbie Savage and James Bailey who scored 4.55 and 4.32 respectively.

It is however 'that man again' Kris Commons who takes the top spot in your ratings for this game. His goal and overall performance again was outstanding in the defeat and a deserved average rating of 5.51.
