As the long run of defeats finally ends, who did you rate as the best Derby County player against Preston?

Well there was some surprises for those of us who didn't travel to Preston. Nigel Clough shuffled his side for the game against Preston Gareth Roberts returned to the defence and gained a 5.95 average, Conor Doyle also returned to the starting line-up and received a 5.81 average from you, the Derby County Mad readers.

Robbie Savage returned to the midfield for the Rams and scored a very good 6.31 out of ten stars. Stephen Pearson also received a better rating, polling a straight 6. Unusually that same score of exactly 6 was also given to James Bailey.

Top gun for the Rams against Preston according to you the Derby County Mad readers was striker Chris Porter. His performance was outstanding by the average scores given by the fans, he averaged 7.28 out of ten stars.

Duffer of the game, if there was one as voted for by yourselves was goalkeeper, Stephen Bywater. Maybe for allowing a late Preston strike into the Rams net but Bywater polled just 5.61 for his afternoons work.
