is fit again and should make his return to action with the Reserves tonight (Tue15th Oct) against Ipswich Town.

The match is to be played at Burton Albion’s Eton Park ground. Zavagno makes his comeback after 9 months out through injury. The knee ligament injury was picked up against Sunderland on the 9th February this year.

Other players who may make the reserve game tonight include Andy Oakes. His hip injury could see him miss not only this game but also the eagerly awaited local Derby against Nottingham Forest on Sunday. If he doesn’t play or come through tonight’s reserve game his place will be taken by young Lee Grant. This situation comes about as Rams Number one keeper Mart Poom must miss the match through his sending earlier this season.

Malcolm Christie has eased fears of a striker crisis for the game against Forest after declaring himself fit after coming off the field on Saturday with a hamstring problem. Christie said he felt the muscle tighten and came off as a precaution but the injury was not as bad as he first thought.
