Branko in happier times this season
Injury prone striker Branko Strupar will miss Wednesday nights Worthington Cup game after a knee injury he received playing for the reserves last Wednesday has not responded to treatment.

Strupar will undergo an orthoscope examination of the knee following a scan earlier last week. The procedure is much like keyhole surgery where the device is placed inside the knee to assertain what(if any) damage has been done.

Hopefully the investigation will not show too much damage and a need for further surgery.

With Derby County still thin on the ground with strikers, it gives 17-year-old Izal McLeod another chance to claim a place in the Rams starting line-up.
