Fabrizio Ravanelli has another mystery injury

OUCH!...Mystery surrounds the injury to Fabrizio Ravanelli,apparently picked up after sitting on the Rams bench on Saturday and sometime before Monday morning!

Fabrizio Ravanelli has suffered yet another mystery injury and will not play in tomorrows reserve team game against Fulham.

We do not as yet know the full extent of the injury but the surprising fact is that the White Feather has only played ten minutes first team football since August of this year. Since his appearance as sub against Portsmouth (cynics say it was just to show him to Harry Redknapp) Ravanelli has not played any first team football. He was substitute against Brighton on Saturday but didn’t play.

What Derby County Mad would like to know is how Ravanelli has suddenly claimed he is injured whilst obviously not playing or even training in the intervening day and a bit?

John Gregory was sceptical about Ravanelli’s earlier Achilles injury. I wonder what he makes of the latest occurrence to sideline Derby County’s most costly striker?
